Illustration

I receive portfolios all the time from amazing illustrators. The best option for clients is to let me commission them. But when budget or time dictate otherwise, I create graphics myself, using vector drawing or photo montage. I’ve also written countless tutorials explaining techniques and shortcuts in professional and consumer graphics software. (The piece at the top was designed to show off some esoteric tools in Adobe Illustrator, and is constructed in a few steps with no actual drawing required.) Sometimes, of course, page layouts become illustrations in their own right.
